Wangjing
Wangjing is a major residential area in Chaoyang District, in the northeast of Beijing, China. Wangjing sits between the northeastern 4th Ring Road and the
northeastern 5th Ring Road (a new exit is being built, heading clockwise on the ring road), as well as Jingcheng Expressway and the Airport Expressway. Many buses serve the area, and Beijing subway CityRail Line 13 links to Wangjing from its Wangjing West station. The CityRail station, however, is situated inconveniently far from the centre of Wangjing, and this has created a booming business of taxis, motorcycles, and velotaxis that ferry commuters between their homes and the subway station during rush hour. Nevertheless, it is expected that the Airport Extension of Line 13 will add a few stops in the Wangjing area.Because of the large number of South Korean residents in "Wangjing" , it has earned a nickname as Beijing's Koreatown. More than 70,000 South Koreans live in the neighborhood.
